Tonya Cannon Is The Daughter Of Ollie Mae Boyd “Alias” Caldonia 1943 To 1985. Growing Up In A Small Town In Florida Caldonia Endured The Brokensess Of Her Family As They Struggled Through Hard Times In The Early 40s. In 1960 Caldonia Won The Crown Of Homecoming Queen*MRS.MILLS High, Webster Florida. Serveral Years Later After Two Failed Marriages And Battling Depression Her Life Ended Tragically By The Act Of Suicide. In 2023 Tonya founded Caldonias lighthouse “a cry for help” A 501c3 Non Profit Organization to reach those that are suffering with suicidal intentions. Tonya Hopes To Shine A Light That Will Guide Those Individuals Out Of The Darkness And Bring Them Into A Place Of Wholeness And Healing With A New And Healthy Outlook On Life.

I am so happy for her story but I am proud of her
I have had the pleasure of sitting in the presence of this author. The knowledge and experiences that she has endured is heartbreaking but there was purpose in her pain. God knew that as a survivor she would be the voice that so many would need. This book has allowed me to get a glimpse of the awful side of domestic violence and the effects it has on so many lives. This is book is for those that are dealing with domestic violence and underestimate the severity of it and those that are not victims but may know of someone who is in an abusive situation. It's a good and quick read.
It's a good and quick read
This book comes out at a very vital time because domestic violence is prevalent in our communities. About 6 months ago a picture of a couple went viral with the hashtag #Relationship Goals...then a month ago the woman's husband killed her. They were a young couple who the world looked up to but the world had no clue what was going on behind closed doors. "If You Hit Me One More Time" puts domestic violence to the forefront. A topic that has been swept under the rug is being discussed hopefully to help someone who is dealing with domestic violence to get OUT before it is too late. This book is a good and quick read. Enjoy

If You Hit Me One More Time, is a true testimony of Tonya's ordeal, and how she escaped. Every woman, who has been in an abusive relationship, or know of someone who is, should read this book. It is uplifting and gives you hope, that you can survive! I pray that this book encourages not only women but men too. Tonya, continue to bless others with your book.

Being in Law Enforcement, I have encountered this issues on daily basis. This book is on time, and just might be the information and guidance needed for someone to rise out of a potentially dangerous situation. I commend this author for giving us her experience, raw and uncut. God bless you! Great read!!!!!!!!
Beautiful Book
This book is Awesome it's real it's true it's something happening everyday and it can be helpful to those who are going through the same things or know someone who are going through the same thing. The book talks about God and how God is the only way out of this abusive relationship. I would recommend the book to all especially every woman and every little girl the book shows us signs about being abused.

This read is exceptional. It has shine light on a lot of darkness. Kudos to Ms Cannon for sharing her story with intentions to help deliver someone else. I am so happy for her story but I am proud of her combat of going back to school and believing in herself. I have witnessed her resilience personally and she keeps on being great. She has chose to rise above abuse.
